The Girl Scouts ? Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is the largest organization serving girls in Arizona and is currently seeking a Senior Associate Marketing Communications (SAM/C), who will be a member of the Council?s key executive staff group, the self-managing Executive Services Response Team.? The ESR Team is accountable for providing leadership, strategic direction, and vision for the development and achievement of the organization?s marketing and communications efforts. ?In collaboration with other members of this Team, the SAM/C works to analyze, design, develop, implement, and continuously improve the Council?s marketing strategies and means of communication.? The position is responsible for a budget of approximately $450k and 4 FTE staff,

The SAM/C will possess solid business skills in marketing with focus on marketing communications, as well as demonstrated dedication and support for the advancement of young people.? A minimum of 5 years? senior level experience is desired, with 8 or more years? experience in marketing and/or marketing communications roles.? The ideal candidate has experience in branding initiatives in the nonprofit community or has demonstrated long-term affiliation with a human services mission-driven organization.? ?A well developed style of management that is collaborative, systematic and empowering will be a key indicator of success for this position.? In addition, we seek preparation for and evidence of delivery of marketing and communications outcomes in accord with the goals described above, with a minimum of an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related fields.? Demonstrated experience supporting the mission and goals of a youth serving organization of similar size to the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is a valuable attribute.
